This was a movie that we unexpectedly enjoyed. We only went to Kraven as we had already seen Gladiator 2. The story was much better than expected. Taylor-Johnsons Kraven was more of a subsistence type hunter opposed to the trophy hunting Kravens of the past. Russel Crowe then captures the arrogance of the trophy hunter brilliantly. The movie had much more depth than the typical Marvel movies.
