I enjoyed the multi layered character driven book but somehow this adaptation didn't quite meet the mark. Settings were spot on eg Matthew's cottage and woodyard. Appalling sound made it really difficult to catch dialogue. If I hadn't read book, probably wouldn't have a clue what was going on
