Honest review Good things: 1. As a movie lover, I’ve seen a lot of films, but this one really stands out because of its characters and their swag. And let’s not forget the mind-blowing BGM—it takes every scene to a whole new level. 2. The story is simple, and the concept feels fresh. That’s what keeps you hooked till the climax. No twists, no suspense, no overthinking—just sit back and enjoy the drama. Very few filmmakers can pull off this kind of straightforward but entertaining storytelling. 3. The makers have used the 2-hour runtime really well to make you connect with the characters. Not-so-good things: 1. A hero truly shines when he faces a strong villain. But here, the climax feels underwhelming—it’s more like a one-sided fight, which takes away the thrill. 2. Sharing screen space with such talented actors is tough, and it’s clear that Hanumankind is trying hard to fit into his role. He has the swag and attitude, but I feel like a different actor might’ve done better justice to his character. Final words: A movie full of swag with next-level BGM! Definitely worth watching for the vibes.

Only the first 15 seconds feel normal, but after that, the movie grips you so tightly that every scene and frame starts to feel unsettling in the best way. The direction and cinematography are absolutely next level, and the background music adds so much intensity to the mystery and the overall vibe of the movie. Huge shoutout to the casting! Jyotirmayi absolutely nailed her role—her acting is on another level. I was blown away by her performance. Kunchacko Boban also delivered an incredible performance, fully dedicated to his character. And Fahadh Faasil? He blended into his role so smoothly that you don’t even see him as THE Fahadh Faasil. He stayed true to his character without overshadowing the leads, which was amazing. Now, about the story— the beginning and middle are just fantastic. The movie plays with your mind so much. You keep guessing, making your own theories, and even though the clues are right in front of you, most of the time you’ll fail to figure out the mystery, which is exactly what a good thriller should do. BUT, when you get to the end, it’s a bit disappointing. The climax feels disconnected from the rest of the story. It doesn’t match the thrill and intensity built throughout the movie, and you’re left feeling like you’re being forced to accept an ending that doesn’t really fit. Final words: Watch it for Jyotirmayi’s brilliant acting—it’s worth it just for her performance!

Big thanks to the makers for this amazing gift. Good things: 1. The story is super interesting and full of twists and turns, staying true to the legacy of the first two seasons. 2. Every character has their own plans, and the way they’re shown in the show is really clever. You’ll have no idea what they’re up to until their plans are executed, and it’s super shocking. 3. The direction and cinematography are amazing. It all feels so real, like it could actually happen. 4. While we’re already connected to the characters from the first two seasons, Season 3 introduces a few new ones. My favorite is Kaviraj. The actor nailed it! You can see the innocence in his expressions, and his shayari is absolutely hilarious. I wish there were more shayari scenes. 5. The climax is the best part for me. Don’t worry, no spoilers here. As an audience, we might expect something else, but the makers give us a completely different ending. When I thought about it later, I realized how fitting it actually was. That’s what I loved most about this season. 6. There are many stories running in the show. Some are wrapped up in this season, while others are left incomplete, leaving room for a possible Season 4. As a fan, I’d love another season, but at the same time, I feel it’s okay to leave things as they are. Mirzapur will always be special to us. Not-so-good things: We all love Kaleen Bhaiyya, but this season focused mostly on Sharad, Guddu, and Golu. I wish the makers had given more importance to Kaleen Bhaiyya—it would’ve made the story even more engaging. The same goes for Beena Tripathi. She felt like she was just there because of her role in the earlier seasons. We all know how sharp and manipulative she is, but sadly, there wasn’t much to her character this time. Final words: This season is really important for the story, so it’s a must-watch. You’ll enjoy it!

Honest Review: Another brilliant piece of work by Raj & DK! The Good Stuff: 1. The story isn’t entirely new, but the way it’s executed is just wow! The two timelines running side by side keep you hooked. At times, it feels like you’re watching two completely different stories, and yet they connect so beautifully. 2. The casting is absolutely spot-on. Varun Dhawan and Samantha have done a great job—you can really see their effort. But honestly, two people completely stole the show: Kay Kay Menon as the agency head and Kashvi Majmundar as little Nadia. And let’s not forget Shivankit Singh Parihar as Chacko—he’s known for comedy, but here he surprises with his action scenes and serious moments. He was amazing! Hoping to see him more in such roles. Also, Saqib Saleem deserves a shoutout—he nailed it as the bad guy! His character had such intensity, and he delivered it perfectly. 3. The one-take climax action scene. Oh my god! It’s one of the best action sequences I’ve seen in a while. Whether they used some smart editing or not, it looks seamless. The choreography is top-notch and keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very end. The Not-So-Good Stuff: 1. The chemistry between Varun and Samantha feels undercooked. Their love story isn’t explored enough, so their bond feels weak—it doesn’t seem like they’d go to any extent for each other. 2. Samantha’s childhood story feels rushed. The series doesn’t explain well why she hates her father so much, which leaves a big gap in her character arc. 3. The 1992 Bollywood movie industry backdrop could have been so much fun to explore, but it’s barely touched upon. They show just a couple of scenes, and that’s it. Considering this is a 7-episode series, there was definitely time to dive deeper into these aspects without affecting the main story. A Small Theory: I heard this series is a prequel to 2023’s Citadel (not confirmed). Priyanka Chopra’s character in Citadel is also named Nadia, the same as the little girl in this series. Plus, this series shows the beginnings of the Citadel organization. I’m definitely going to watch Citadel now to see if this theory holds up! Final Words: If you’re a fan of spy thrillers, this series is for you! It’s got great action scenes, a gripping story, and stellar performances. Totally worth a watch!

Honest Review: What I liked: The best thing about this movie was Jimmy Sheirgill’s character. Since I didn’t watch the trailer and went straight to the movie, his entry hit differently—it was such a powerful moment. Another highlight for me was the scene where Taapsee and Vikrant appear together for the first time, with "Ek Haseena Thi" playing in the background. That scene was pure magic! The cast is excellent, and every actor brought their A-game. The direction, cinematography, background music, sets, and locations were all on point—no complaints there. What I didn’t like: The story was just average. While there were a few twists that caught me off guard, the climax was way too predictable. By the time you reach the ending, you can pretty much guess what’s coming next. And honestly, the climax dragged on forever! At one point, I was like, "Okay, we get it—can you just end the movie now?" I also felt they didn’t do justice to Sunny Kaushal’s character. He had so much potential and could have added more unpredictability to the story, but they didn’t explore him enough. Instead, they wasted too much time on an unnecessarily long ending. Final Word: It’s a decent one-time watch, but don’t expect a mind-blowing climax. Make sure to watch the first part to fully understand the characters. Special shoutout to Bhumi Dube—her acting was amazing!
