I personally thought this was an AMAZING movie! I thought for sure at the end that ruby was going to die, because that's what happens in most of all the other heartwarming dog movies. CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought that the story was great and I was so happy when Ruby was accepted into the K-9 unit to be in the junior department. I think that the scene where the body was underneath the deck and under three ft. of cement was heartbreaking because Daniel didn't trust in his dog and then he told her she blew it and it was all her fault which caused her to run away. In that moment I thought that he was never going to find her and if he did she would be dead. But I was so happy when he found Ruby and they saved the boy together. The title is VERY fitting to the movie and I am very impressed! I would highly recommend this movie for a family movie night, very fitting for kids!!!

All in all, this movie was good. It was a bit draggy and slow at some points, and at some of these times, it made me want to turn it off completely. It definitely wasn't the AMAZING movie I was expecting considering the fact that I love musical theatre and thought that it would be about something else. I would recommend this movie, though. If you were just in search of a decent movie that you could watch with the family.
