Most correspondents on TODAY are professional, and wonderfully entertaining. The reason I must give a two star rating is because of the presence of Savannah Guthrie. She does not present herself as a professional role model for the public. Her demeanor with cast and contributors is frequently demeaning, and condescending. She elicits a superficial persona that is not in keeping with TODAY or her peers, and is unpleasant to watch. Because of her weight, her appearance does not convey that of a healthy young woman today’s youth should be exposed to on a daily basis. Unlike Hoda, Sheinelle, and Dylan, her dress code is unprofessional, and is more appropriate for a trip to the grocery store. Like many of my own peers, I no longer watch TODAY on a daily basis because of Savannah’s presence.

While Mayim Bialuk is obviously exceptionally intelligent, as she reminds viewers nightly, she does not possess the stage presence, humility, or graciousness we enjoyed from her predecessor. Her personal appearance is poor. Her attire is not only unattractive, her clothes do not fit her. As kind as he was, Alex Trebek would be highly disappointed in the choice currently attempting to follow in his footsteps. After watching “Jeopardy” for decades, I find myself seeking more appealing entertainment.
