Stacking the beginning with two overlong opening sequences set the expectation for the rest of the film: it's going to be a boring ride. Too many issues with the story render it unwatchable. No 80s music leaves it unsatisfying. The writing assumes the audience are fully stupid and need a lot of hand holding in understanding basic concepts like truth and love. And that gorgeous gold suit seen all over the advertising? It's onscreen for a moment before it's gone. My whole reason for not turning the tv off was to see the suit in action. Terribly disappointing movie all around.
