A drama that rattles your emotions if you have any. I don't normally leave reviews for TV shows/movies, but I couldn't help but write one for this beautifully crafted Parizaad TV serial. It's a soulfull drama that deserves the top award, award of a decade or even of a century. I deeply felt every part of it because it is so immersive. Parizaad, the main character had an outstanding performance. His innocent and magnanimous character really pulled on my heart strings. He is intelligent yet so self-less. Some few people like him live in this world who do so much for others yet don't get recognition for their heart of gold. This drama made me cry countless times because I feel so close to Parizaad's character as I am sure many do too. The OST is the perfect fit for this drama too. I've seen many TV shows but this one, I couldn't get enough of. Despite being so busy, I finished it off in a few days because that is how deeply connected I felt watching this drama. I want more and more of this kind of TV serial. Truly wonderful and memorable character of Parizaad. I normally don't re-watch TV shows or movies but this one seems like so worthy of watching all over again. One of a kind tv show, props to the entire team. I saw an interview of Ahmad Ali Akbar where he mentioned that he's faced some similar situations in his life like those of seen in this drama, it's no wonder he acts so smoothly. I actually want to cry now because I finished watching it and I will miss seeing new episodes of it lol. Great teamwork by everyone and I highly recommend everyone to watch it. Glad that the last episode was positive and didn't have too much sadness in it.

I just finished watching this movie. I liked it because unlike a lot of Indian/Pakistani movies/TV shows, this movie is light hearted. It isn't sad and depressing but it is still quality. It does have a few scenes that are emotional and contribute to the overall value of the movie. I do like that they portray the true reality of how some brown parents can be so picky with choosing a partner for their child. The "parents happiness, happiness parents" is so spot on for so many brown children. I like that the story isn't too complicated and super easy to follow. It is a funny movie that you can sit and watch with your family. Those commenting on the their accents, keep in mind that the actors come from mixed backgrounds. Some are Indian, some Canadian, some Americans and even Australian, Kenyan, etc.
