ignore the Star Rating, … it’s for me to keep track of what I watch & what I like, (because I don’t rate movies) … MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER FOR PEOPLE TO SAY THAT THE 2ND MOVIE IS A PREQUEL … in this 1st movie, you don’t find out until the end, of how many levels there are, (in the 2nd movie, right away, you find out right away how many levels that there are) … in this 1st movie, it takes quite some time to get something done about the fair distribution of food, (in the 2nd movie, right away, it’s talked about) … in this 1st movie, the Messiah had sent a message of Hope & of Solidarity (which, in the 2nd movie, they talk about it) … in this 1st movie, you don’t know what’s below, until towards the end, (in the 2nd movie, you see right away, (basically)) … now, there is a character from the 1st movie, that is in the 2nd movie… but it’s basically just a cameo (no proof of any prequel) for a few minutes … so, NO, there is NO PREQUEL, … sooo, basically, the 2nd movie is just a retelling of this 1st story, like what they did with “Evil Dead Part 1 & Part 2” … so I believe this 1st one is much better, because you don’t find out the secrets of “The Platform”, right away
