Another superb performance from Roshan Mathew and Darshana coupled with some great direction and editing. As usual, both are so much at ease while bringing out complex emotions all along - many times it is difficult to think even if they are aware that the camera is rolling! The Sri Lankan actor Shyam Fernando as the humble driver Andrew also put up a very impressive performance - the particular scene where Keshav (Roshan) leaves the store/kitchen after having a quick sip of country liquor and Shyam asks other staff to keep quiet/not laugh while nervously confirming whether Keshav has left the room is so perfect and natural! Mahendra Perera as Sergeant Bandara also did a great job as a frustrated police office trying to deliver amidst great constraints! The sound engineering (which I critically follow to evaluate movies I watch!) has been exceptional - e.g the delicate sounds of Darshana chewing salad pieces were also clearly audible! Background score blends superbly with the theme. Some of the scenes like public protests (mostly when they drive through) on the street against the government during that period of financial turmoil could have been better by choice of better frames, editing(the crowd was too thin and protests appeared to be too gentle - all know the situation was very bad and violent). Overall a great combination - acting, direction, script, breathtaking locations etc!
