I have been a huge fan of this show. However the new format is leaving me disappointed. I can appreciate wanting the dancers to be employment ready however the magic has been lost.
I had always enjoyed the dancing as well as the story the choreographers were expressing and how they were able to evoke all of our emotions.
We were able to get to know the contestants and become invested emotionally in the stories the dances were telling.
I do like the decisions being made be the perfessionals and not America. Sadly the show has lost its heart and sole.
