If you like Sonic franchise a lot then you will definitely watch it. But if you are just a person who would like to see a Sonic movie you might get a bit disappointed. The voice acting aren't poor , but the overall plot feels like a rush. Many places were going by common modes. There is no outstanding formula found inside. This movie wanted to introduce and also end a chapter of Shadow in 1 movie, and perhaps to put an end for Jim Carrey's role (Dr. Eggman) if he decided not to continue in the future. When Sonic and Shadow aren't import in this movie, then it would a Jim's solo in double person acting show. I give a 3 star for actors and Jim. In fact I wish to give a 2 but that seems too harsh .

It is all in dialogues, conversations. A zero action movie that has no fighting or hints of violence inside. It is a very pure test to the Sean Penn and Dakota Johnson in all acting skills without CG or effects. Check their actings in eyes and that is the best part. Hint of sex and so the words are inside. I am glad they keep it and make it complete, instead of correctings that lost the likeliness of reality. Interestingly , I wonder if it could be a stage play later, hope to see it .

This movie is a great standing out from the movies and animations within this period . It has no dialogues but speaks more than the any words . I can't believe it is not made by Pixar ,but it has the former Pixar quality. I didn't cry at the end. The truth is I am really impressed by the ending of the movie . The best dream to come true is not making a single expected conclusion to happen, but to make anything to have their best.
