I did not look at anything written or reported about the movie Joker: Folie a Deux -2024 because I didn’t wish anything to prejudice my first time impressions in any any way! I was so deeply moved by the tragedy and the unexpected beauty and pathos of the first film The Joker and feared the possibility of perhaps feeling disappointed with the sequel. Having just now watched the sequel I can only say it was magnificent!!!! Equally honest and tragic, yet “opera-esque” in its “mesmerizing delivery” by Joaquin Phoenix and Lady GaGa, and reminiscent of the most magnificent of the deeply moving of the famous opera tragedies!!!! I AM AGAIN BLOWN AWAY!!!! Would that stories like Arthur’s were non-existent in this world!!! Children and the statistics regarding their mistreatment abuse and murder continue to prevail in our world without enough help or interference and my heart bleeds for them!!! I not only “applaud” the artistry and talent and vision of “painfully beautiful” film but the honesty and pain of its delivery by all involved!! Thank you!
