Useful book to try and understand the myth created in us by the British as far as Mythology goes. A very special chapter dealing with the non existent difference between the terms History and Mythology. The book talks about the loss of the understanding of the ancient history of these temples due to barbaric invasions and the loss of the ancient literature. A remarkable effort by the author.

Nice. Good guide for those foreigners inclined towards and wishing to adopt Hinduism. Gives a vivid description of each Goddess temples.

Great and novel work. Remarkable historical view and discovery. Government needs to work with Archeological survey of India to find out the real history and Shivlingas. If so this work needs to be acclaimed.
