(Possible spoilers)
An amazing documentary of a young girls (Aundreas) mysterious disappearance, with additional victims like many true crimes, but without distancing too far from the main story.
I find it very hard to keep glued to a show or film these days but I had to watch it one after the other - be prepared to be hooked!
I feel many will have varied views on Cathy, the biological mother who was originally invested in finding her daughter with the help of her partner only to find she is a missing person. It’s hard to imagine feeling the heartache when you do not know the person you are grieving over. But I did come to like her the more I saw her push to find out the truth, and her maternal instinct definitely came through.
The foster mother, clearly delusional, was under her husbands thumb the whole time. She must have had some suspicions over the years but wouldn’t allow herself to believe he could do any wrong. Even with his guilty confessions she wouldn’t accept it. It is sad, but I do not feel bad for her, she pulls the wool over her eyes for her own selfish reasons.
The foster father… where do I even start.
With what was provided, I have no doubt that he has committed many atrocities, most will never come to light. There will be victims of his out there, dead and alive.
I don’t believe his story about Aundria’s accident, I wouldn’t believe about 99% of what he says.
A serial liar, manipulator, abuser.
Metta didn’t get her justice, I hope she can find comfort knowing he is behind bars. A sweet six year old little girl, who gave an amazing description of the man and the vehicle, she deserved better in this situation too. All the victims did. It took so, so long for that monster to be charged for his crimes.
JUST WATCH IT IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY!
