A truly brilliant heist series well worth your time. The professor is such a mastermind planner, the cat and mouse game between him and the police is compelling, and most importantly you grow emotionally attached to each of the heist crewmembers as they grow more closer in the show itself. I grew up loving the Oceans series as well as The Italian Job. This show's heist execution is on that level The English dub was very good coming from someone who originally watched Squid Game right before. The lip syncing generally lines up well and the Spanish cast's excellent expressive acting makes the dub that much better.

All around excellent book! I was sucked in by the unique color coded class system (Golds rule, Obsidians are soldiers, Reds mostly mine and live out their lives deep underground) but what really hooked me was Darrow's character development. The world building is superb, from the early chapters detailing day in the life of a Red spending their life underground never seeing the stars to the depiction of Golds and how they are shaped into future leaders...it's all so compelling. If you enjoyed the Hunger Games, you've got elements of the series in here ranging from killing to bonding with others thrown into the same deadly situation. You've got the political intrigue of Game Of Thrones and even a tad bit of Harry Potter in terms of school houses and the bonds built and broken between members of them. Come for the cool spin on dystopia worldbuilding, stay for the well developed characters and unpredictable plot twists..some violent, some anything but violent. I know your time is limited, so just know this book will NOT waste your time. It's well paced, well written, and I think it's my new favorite book of all time

Love this show and its fantastic dystopia vibe. The overall worldbuilding suckrd me in, especially the power struggle between the sheriff, mayor, and judicial. Only complaint is that MUCH of season 1 is dedicated to a murder mystery and not so much mysteries of the silo, why they are there, and what really happens to those who to outside (beyond just the sheriff's scene). Excited for season 2, give this a go!

Emergency 4: Global Fighters for Life

Damn good show! They do an excellent job of balancing character development (enough to make you care about all of them) with well-produced action scenes in every episode. The show does NOT look cheap. Stellar production value, real service members used as extras, footage the military allowed them to shoot in Ospreys and other cool vehicles....it's just an all around great show. Storyline are fairly varied too. If you're on the edge of watching this, just take the leap and dive in Ignore the reviews from the few people whining that some hyperspecific thing isn't realistic like the control room of a submarine...doubt our military would let them perfectly recreate it. Not fair to give a low score when this isn't a military documentary. It is a drama. Also, completely unfair of the dude who gave a low score over the dog handler not having many lines. THE HANDLER IS NOT AN ACTOR HE IS REAL DOG HANDLER WHO DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING A BUNCH OF LINES. The non actors who pre iously served are featured but are not lead actors. Don't give a low score over an assumption like "the writers must've hated him." No, do your homework and learn before judging. They said they did not want to do many lines because it isn't their thing. The dog dude wasn't even originally set to be on camera they pushed him into that role and he was shy over it.
