This had so much promise but, as so often is the case, woke garbage killed it. All the boxes get ticked in the first few episodes... lezbo couple, a trans that gets "misgendered". A white guy racist. A black doctor investigating "racial inequity in the ER". Ugh. This is a total waste of some good talent. Shame on you, HBO.

This show could be a real winner, but now it's spinning into "a woman working in a man's world". I suppose that's better than the obligatory, pointless lezbo thread (wait for it) but they didn't need ruin this show with modern day virtue signaling. Now they've wrecked Jethro Gibbs' back story. Ugh.

This is a solid show. The main characters are entertaining and believable and the storylines are engrossing. Deducting two stars because of the incessant need to include one or more obligatory, pointless gay threads to push narrative, especially at the beginning of season 3. They add nothing to the show and are obviously pushed by alphabet mafia activists behind the scenes. This is typical when a TV show or movie series gets popular... add gay threads... and has prematurely ended more than one thriving enterprise. Case in point, look at how the Star Wars series has been utterly ruined.

Season two crawls. Most scenes are shot around Jeff Bridges' daughter in the mountains of Afghanistan. It's a big letdown after a solid first season.

Not even 10 minutes in and Alexander the Great is kissing another guy. Turned it off. Woke Netflix ruins another one pandering to the alphabet mafia.

Clive Owen is really good but the story drags with a host ancillary characters used to develop the back story, much of it in French. I lost interest as Owen's screen time inexplicably diminished in episodes 4 and 5.

Was this a movie about Elvis or a civil rights movie? This film sucked for the same reason The Many Saints of Newark did. Both had so much promise but focused on all the bad white people. Keep the hate narrative alive.

The show is interesting enough to keep watching but having gay characters in every episode tells me an activist narrative is being pushed. Entertain, don't preach.
