Every film has a good concept. It’s just how they execute it. Last year’s Harold and the Purple Crayon had an incredible concept, it just sucks that it went more of a cliched route. Here Sketch pulls its concept off flawlessly. The film has a well blended tone of dark and light. The film centers on few characters so it gets to explore the nuances of each and every one of its main cast. The visual effects are spectacular, with the cartoonish drawings looking surreal in our world. Each encounter with each drawing is well thought out and has lots to enjoy. I’m wasn’t too big of a fan of Angel Studios but I am now all thanks to writer-director, Seth Worley. Go see it now in theaters! 10/10, would watch again.

It’s a great Internet Horror. It has bad reviews, why? It’s very entertaining and has some nicely done practical effects. Especially the blender scene, that gave me nightmares. The acting is very natural. I never got jump scared but I had an eerie feeling while watching the film. I liked pretty much all of the characters, they felt like real people and I actually cared for them at times. Favorite character was Mitch, he gave the best performance. Least favorite was, the girl who died first in the call, forgot her name. I will say I did like the argument between her and the blonde girl. That’s about it. Although, the Bleach scene gave me chills. I will say that the Glitchy effect wasn’t that pleasing to watch. But it enhanced the feeling of watching on a computer screen, so I’ll give it that. I’d say that in terms of kills, Unfriended is probably best ‘Video Call horror’ film I’ve seen so far. As its sequel does better in plot but has very lame kills. All in all, Unfriended is a good watch for a movie night and while its ending might have mixed feelings, it’s an entertaining ‘Internet Horror’ that doesn’t deserve the hate it gets. At best it’s a fun family film with positive messages and lots of laughs. The soundtrack and score is nice. Corbin Bleu and Christopher Lloyd did the best job in Camp Hideout. The rest of the cast were good enough to not make me cringe. I like the villains, they were goofy and fun to watch and I think that Ethan Drew plays a likable and rootable protagonist.

At least, it’s laughable, wooden dialogue and poor acting doesn’t necessarily help a film be a breadwinner. At most, it’s a fun film for the family and a great source of memes. The Mustard/Bread Bathroom scene is a classic and so is a slice of bread coming out of Lucas Graham’s hand. It’s a film with positive messages and it is a very interesting superpower, not going to lie. Food Boy might not be the superhero we want, but he is the superhero that appears, when we’re hungry. He might not be as effective as Superman or as powerful as Dr. Strange but at least he can stop CaseOh from causing earthquakes. (No offense) Because of its concept not based on an existing property, I have to give some credit. It’s a 3/5 for me. I would give it 3.5 but I don’t know how to do that. Of course, Ballistic: Ecks VS Sever’s story is far from great but those action sequences are bomb. (No Pun Intended) Like most say, it’s not the director’s fault he didn’t write the script and he even got fired halfway through. Banderas and Liu do their best job for what they have to work with, and for stunts, id say they did an amazing job. The scene where Ecks run through explosions, that was all practical. The plot is… alright. It has a decent story, unlike all those parodies; (cough) disaster movie (cough). The nanobot part was unnecessary but the child kidnapping part wasn’t too bad, it had potential. It’s the producers’ fault it failed, so stop blaming the director or actors. Thus, Ballistic isn’t that terrible to be called the worst film of all time. Films like The Last Airbender (2010) are far worse and that has a 5%. Ballistic is similar to Cursed (2005). Both films were meddled with and are called ‘bad’. In summary I’ll give it 6/10, mainly because it fulfills the meaning of ‘action film’. Unlike Far Cry (2008).
