You gotta love Judy. A portrayal of everything that Hollywood stripped from the engenues of the days gone by. So predatory and down right cruel. Ms. Garland is played by an almost emaciated Renee Zellweger (Golly, she always picks parts that demand she gain or lose tons of weight) as she flashes back to her childhood filled with a dominatrix of a guard dog matron, the uppers, the downers, and the lack of food and any childhood enjoyment. Zellweger fulfills the role expertly with her vocal range, dance moves, and general joi de vis when on stage. I recommend this movie especially if you are a Zellweger fan.
