If you love musicals, you will absolutely adore Peg + Cat! This show does an incredible job at teaching preschoolers the usefulness of math and problem solving. From the illustration choices using shapes for buildings and infinity signs in the sky. To the complex math formulas in the backdrops tho help kids be more comfortable looking at symbols and numbers, this show is incredibly well thought out. The orchestrations and songs set a very high bar for a children's show, some of which have literally brought me to tears. This show has a huge amount of heart poured into every episode. Peg teaches children to calm down and think when they’re “totally freaking out”. It also makes math fun and comfortable for children at a young age. There was actually a study that showed after children watched Peg + Cat for a while, those children had a stronger grasp of more various math concepts. More children need to be consuming this sort of media!
