The daughter from a wishing tree… it’s an interesting book were we talk more about women in mythology. There may be fewer stories but each of them tell how patient, compassion women are. Few of the stories we are quite familiar but their r few which blew my mind. It’s great for kids who are still young and would like to learn about mythology.

Mahabharat one epic tale which will always remind us that good triumphs over evil. There are many versions of mahabharat and I decided to read panchali's version. Narration through eyes of the women who had the most cruel fate. Something that we all know is about the game that changed her life, the anger and vengeful women but we never got to know the true her which Is even more sad her lonely childhood, father's rejection,love for her brother Dhrishtadyumna, the only companion she ever had Krishna , the unexpected turn of events that lead her to marry pandavas. It made me fall in love krishne aka drapaudi a fearless women, her trails with kunti, complicated friendship with Krishna, balanced relationship with pandavas, Absentee of her motherhood this book makes you hooked up.
