I read this book with a local book club and we all absolutely loved it.
Personally, I found reading Seal Skin a completely immersive experience, and enjoyed the way the writing drew me into the story.
Details like the exact time or place in which the story is set are left for us to decide, and yet descriptions of the landscape and the natural world are exquisitely described.
In one sense this story is deeply shocking, and in another, tender and moving. It’s a story that stays with you long after it’s finished.
