What a waste of a binge of eight episodes.... And just to cut to the chase there was no resolution at the end ...what ?runaway... That's it? First all the characters were blithering idiots.... There was hardly a straightforward sentence without a lot of wishy-washiness, and apologizing for what they say... Is that how the good guys are supposed to be displayed? I applaud Netflix taking on a religious theme, Good and evil, But if you're going to talk about Christianity at least get the facts right. If Christianity says that God is omnipotent then why display him / her ad not omnipotent?
Would you make a movie about Buddhism and Buddha is just a chubby baby fat guy /gal that can't make decisions? That would be pretty offensive to the public community.
I accept the fact that there's going to be some writers license to a series like this, I appreciate watching the Good Place, I don't always agree with some of the statements made but overall it reflects Christianity versus Satan in respectful way.
So in the end God's chosen man just... Runs away.... I don't think the writers could really figure out a decent way to end this series.
