Quirky and different than the usual mainstream from this decade. But I found it engaging and really enjoyed both series. Stick with it and follow the twists and turns. Great production and acting. Kind if interesting as I started watching it during Covid restriction time. The opening depression era footage seemed strangely appropriate to current events and socio political changes. Pity it finished production early.

I came away with many feelings. Joy at the performances and subtle moments of humour, and emotions stirred up with the impending feelings I had of a less than happy ending. An insight to a different culture and place. Thanks to all involved in the production for giving us this insight to another place. No easy task.

Great story and superb acting. Found it by chance via general browsing of DVDs ( can't stream where I live) so glad I did. Different eras but the storyline gave it the required context to really make it work.
