What we have here is, basically, "The Ring" for millennials, where in lieu of viewing a video full of bizarre images, the curse is passed to the next victim by the old fashioned low-tech action of simple carnal knowledge. They just translated "The Ring" for the sensibilities of the modern teenager or 20 something.
