Almost EVERY bad review is about an “unrealistic kitchen”, “emotional abuse”, or “talk of suicide”. As someone who’s worked in the kitchen, as a sever & a bartender at different restaurants I can say this is actually realistic in those specific aspects. As customers, most don’t see these things and a lot of people hate the show because they refuse to believe that this is a real problem. Kitchens specifically get irritated workers because they’re working at such a fast pace and are both overworked and underpaid, which can easily make someone more upset. All workers in this industry can relate to that. Kitchen specifically, if the restaurant feels hot to you, the kitchen is always 20°+ degrees worse. Or vise versa, you might be coke hit the back end of building is still sweating for you to complain about your chills. Bring a jacket. Yes, they chose this job, but you couldn’t come out and enjoy a meal with your family (or yourself) if not for them. Get over yourself and go back your cubicles. ❤️ Go watch gossip girl or something.
