Lacks any semblance of a good game. Boring gameplay bad weapons terrible upgrade scheme. Little to no real story and oh if you wanted more than 30 minutes of "new" levels and gameplay your not gonna get it. You replay the same levels over and over at different difficulties. Seems like a cash grab through and through. Wasted time on something meaningful like control 2. I don't know what they were thinking by making this game it adds little to nothing to the universe they have created and the gameplay mechanics are poor as poor can be. Same loop over and over no fresh anything except small upgrades here and there.

Use to be a 10 year fan. Now, no longer enjoy the battlefield.

I had to go back and change my original review due to how amazing this game is. It took awhile but i started understanding what this game is truly about. Its about how hard it is to see right from wrong, what it means to survive the things you do that changes you and how nothing is ever black and white. This game is groundbreaking in the way that you see two different perspectives entirely. If your emotionally attached to the original last of us the second is by far an improvement on an already great story. The way naughty dog can create these believable, realistic characters is just crazy. I feel as though i truly met and started to get to know each one personally. Truly one of the best games I've played. If you started it and didnt like it within the first 4 hours then i beg you go back and try to play more. Let go of certain emotions about characters and let others flood in.
