Short answer, wait for it to be free in December. Had a hard time watching this. I knew it wasn't going to be following the animated version fully but after watching it they really should have. The whole movie was very dry. The fight scenes were short and some made no sense. Actually I felt there were a lot of things that made no sense. For example **SPOILER*** This one part where she goes to bathe in the lake, this one guy gets naked just to go into the lake and have a 20sec conversation with boy mulan and then walks out. Like what was the whole point of that, I just thought it was weird. Like oh hey I'm going to get naked just to go next to you in the water and say I got your back in battle then walk out the water.
