Nothing like Yellowstone and certainly worse than 1883. Harrison Ford is tiring to watch and the pornographic sequences are unnecessary. Perhaps they were made to fulfill the fantasies of the cuck directors and writers. All the sadomasochist scenes are an embarrassment for Timothy Dalton who is clearly there for the income, and anyone who is watching. Don't get me started on the stereotypes and tropes of all Catholics being deviant rapists, abusers, lesbians and gay. Not one redeeming character and yet history contradicts the Hollywood BS about them and that the Indians were pure, peaceful and gentle - and all of the European settlers were savages. Makes the subject matter impossible to watch because it is nearly all BS. Stomached most of Season 1 but won't be watching anymore. Total shite. Stereotyped, tawdry, crap misinformed drama about the "good old days". Grow up Sheridan. Stop letting Hollywood mogul perverts tell you what to write. If it's all you, than you deserve the fate that awaits you when they get tired of your "historical" pap. Perhaps Costner was a stabilizing element in Yellowstone. The prequels really suck in comparison. He got out just in time. Landman is a better waste of time from Sheridan.

Meh. Corny, messy, directionless, supernatural mumbo jumbo of mythology that ends up going from excessive gore, witchcraft and Tuetonic/German stereotypes to watered down Jewish biblical mythology BS (and more gore) in the last few episodes. Did I mention the recurring bad Portland jokes? What a disappointment and a waste of any of the time that I skimmed through. Filled with bad acting, zero morality, even for the "good characters", if there really are any, and annoying stereotyped characters of all races and ethnicities. I'd label this as a comedy before anything else, so watch if you want to roll your eyes and enjoy a few belly laughs, but for all the wrong reasons.

One of the rare decent and interesting movies to come along in years. Don't expect good reviews for those very reasons. Seems to be an accurate portrayal of a great author and man, so very little appeal for most who prefer raunchy sex scenes, gun play and car chases for entertainment.

Most musicians would not understand most of the references in this film, let alone the average movie viewers. A total mess designed to offend artists and so many others. Poorly acted and even disturbing at times. A wasted two hours.
