This movie is terrible, frankly.
The movie has an anti-Catholic sentiment running throughout. Chris McNeil's line of why Frs. Merrin and Karras didn't allow her to watch Regan's exorcism because of "patriarchy" is just stupid.
We go from that to a dimwitted priest who is played by an actor who can barely act.
The oncologist turned witch doctor is portrayed in a better light than the priest.. Not sure why, all she does is dig up roots and blow alcohol on a fire..
If you are a fan of the original movie, don't bother with this woke attempt at foolishness.
