The beginning of the movie offered a glimpse of promise but as the story progressed, it was subdued by an overarching theme of a cringe worthy romance plot. A fair amount of stunts performed during the movie kept the movie barely afloat. Frequently, the main story becomes quite convoluted and hard to follow.
I will preface the next part by stating I enjoy the rock band Kiss. However, the soundtrack was heavily based off of one song. We hear multiple renditions of the same song essentially on repeat and it leaves us begging for a skip by the end of the movie. I wanted to like this movie.. Overall, I would say pass viewing this try hard in theatres and instead watch from the comfort of your own couch where you have the ability to fast-forward and substitute your own music for the action scenes. You'll save money and angst. You're welcome.
