I don't usually do reviews. Especially not for games, but I feel I need to for this one.
I remember watching a YouTube video of this game a while back. Thought the game looked great, but I soon forgot about it. It wasn't until a couple of days ago that I saw it was one of the PS+ games on the PlayStation for February.
I played it for about 2 hours before going to sleep. The next morning, I got up and immediately jumped back on the game. I'm not usually like that with games but High On Life I was.
It has a type of Rick & Morty feel to it. I'm not even a massive fan of the TV show, but I still found myself laughing at the jokes.
The only reason it doesn't get 5* is because of the length of the game. According to my PlayStation, I completed the game in 8 hours. That's tiny, that's nothing. I was also a little annoyed at the ending as well. I won't spoil it, but I was expecting something a little better. And there isn't much to do once you've completed the game.
I would still 100% recommend this game to people. I have already recommended it to about 10 people.
There is a "High On Knife," which looks like a DLC for £11.99, which I might buy buy, but I still I hope they release a High On Life 2 in the future.
