Boring as hell. David character gets a minor injury and they put him on drugs for days where he's completely out of it so they can introduce the boring and treacherous connection between Julia Ormond and Harrison Ford. As the train to actor, I can tell you that there is a big thing with movies where overacting is easy to do so they tried to keep you in the under acting mode. But that is a big mistake because this was a romantic comedy that had a lot of energy while Kinear was on stage and is now the care for insomnia with these two characters, absolutely horrible.

This movie is absolutely horrible. As a comedy writer and comedian and director of talent and producer in the comedy world in the past, or even as just a regular person with no background, this movie is absolutely horrendous. It just goes to show you that while Tina Fay might be able to write a sketch or two she really was an affirmative action hire on Saturday Night Live for women. She never would have been hired by SNL earlier on or later on, just no talent at all. She's not funny, she can't act and it's difficult to even look at her. Steve Carell is always wonderful but I have to turn this one off, it's just one of the worst movies ever made. Bad cast, awful script and 5th grade play acting. The scene with Kristen Wiig brought a tiny spark of life, she looked great, didn't look anorexic and have the clinically depressed eyes. She looked healthy, if she made an appearance back I wouldn't switch the channel. But oh my, give me the time back.l Don't waste one brain cell.

Good movie. But energetically not realistic. Where was the spark from players and from staff? No humor whatsoever. People are not this one dimensional. I'm not into sports, but I like a good story and the acting was good and the script and directing were very good. However, in an attempt for the director to get everyone to underact, and to not make it a Jerry Maguire high energy type of, it had slow moving dullness that baseball shouldn't have. All that testosterone had a monotonous tone to it and it's not reality. I've watched enough local baseball to know that there's a heck of a lot of energy. This is America's game in America is very energetic, where the hell was the energy? If this was another Country I'd say okay, they had a lot of decorum and maybe that they don't get all excited and jump up and down and get angry and have all of that vigor, but because it's America and I'm in America, I know this is not how games are. I know that the actual game can be a little slow, but behind the scenes, I can't imagine anything being so linear!! The movie was not so linear that it was boring because it had a good script in acting but it just lacked that reality factor. There was none of the happiness and joy that we see when the team wins, and I know it was all based on the general manager's melancholy prospective, and he was not a happy guy, but it's still lacked this and so it had a surreal almost spaced out vibe to it that could have easily been avoided by at least injecting some spirited scenes based on the reality of a sports team.

I'm dealing with mosquitoes in the house late at night and the movie had already started and was on in the background. It is freaking hysterical. Sitting down to watch it now and the scene with the black couple at the theatre is just hilarious. As a comedian I have no idea how I am 23 years late for this party. Really funny. Going to rewind and watch from the beginning.

I'm editing a bit after episode 2 because I thought that episode 2 was far superior to episode 1. It really showed how troubled the main character is, and how much the record industry just capitalizes on them as a money machine, and nothing more, and how lonely it is. Had I started with this episode, I would have given a kinder review. The director directs this very much like a movie. The cinematography is interesting to watch. Depp, like her father, is interesting to watch. Excitement ends there. Sexual shock value of 1995 does not hold well in 2023. No plot, no storyline, and a terrible cliche of what being a star in Hollywood is. Many women in hollywood, even very young women, have their own production companies, I know I did when I was there, and that was a long time ago. These women are taking control of their own careers and they don't want to be over sexualized, they want to be respected as the artist that they are. So to put a show together where somebody is mentally ill and open lines about exploiting the mentally ill and making it all about essentially raping this woman both by the industry and in reality, is unsettling.

Hard to get through as Ann Margaret's acting, might just be the worst I have ever seen. She puts an inexperienced soap actor on their first day in front of the camera to shame.

It was a fun watch but the movie underplayed the fact that these children were essentially being abused by moving around so much and having a ho as a mother. They never got to connect to any man in their life and the daughter is obsessed with a father she never knew. There's no way that children that are moving around every year would not be deeply affected. But I did enjoy it. Just not particularly realistic. The daughter mirrored the mother, the mother was troubled and this truly wasn't addressed. But it was funny and light and I would recommend.
