It's a good movie with a passion that you can feel, definitely worth the watch "but" it abuses it's main quirk a little too much compared the first one which at the end makes me feel a bit disappointed because it makes it's narrative too predictable. It does show it's worth for all the crazy creepy scenes, absolutely but the unexplored potential outside the creepiness will leave a lot of veterans of horror disappointed.
I say there needs to be more hope for the character over the first since we already knew what the entity can do, otherwise it just feels like a repeat of the first. The stakes were raised so much that it's hard to imagine a 3rd sequel in the context of what we are left with.
Overall, they DEFINITELY don't miss on the horror, it's beautiful, the plot has definitely become weaker for those who've seen the first one and there needs to be more added if you want to keep that series going.
