Depeche Mode at its best! Beautiful layers of sounds that only DM has been known to build and craft over the years. You can hear elements of Construction Time Again, Black Celebration, Music for the masses, Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion. I’ve always enjoyed DM’s upbeat songs, but the albums slower songs are really deep lyrically and amazing dark melodic sounds. Somehow it feels like the bands Swan Song album, in a good way. It’s a Black Celebration at its best. Favorite tracks are My Favorite Stranger, Never Let Me Go, Caroline’s Monkey, Before We Drown, Always You, and Soul With Me. DM has been the soundtrack of my life since I was 11 years old, I am now 42. I really thank David and Martin for keeping the band together despite losing a founding member. Thank you for all the decades of music that speaks to so many people around the world. I’ve never felt alone since I discovered this band in 1991, forever DM Devotee.
