The girl could have gotten away so many times but instead does stupid stuff like sit in the car in astonishing amazement looking at all the cars surrounding the house. The sheriff could have continued to shoot at the mother vampire but instead he's shocked and amazed at the drastic change in the mother's appearance and he just stands there like an idiot then he gets scared and instead of shooting or hitting the mother vampire with the shotgun, he just ts it to the floor on his left side. There are so many more numerous out of character mistakes like when the other deputies arrive on the scene as backups, while the mother vampire is dragging the girl out in front of the arriving officers, instead of confronting the immediate threat that she presents, the officer kneels down in front of her to tend to the unconscious woman laying on the ground a few feet in front of the vampire. I could go on with more of the other obvious errors but then the rest of you wouldn't need to watch the movie. If you overlook these mistakes you can still end up enjoying the storyline. All in all, the movie is entertaining and you might enjoy it. Too bad they didn't take the time to reshoot the obvious errors, it would have been such an outstanding movie.
