Was obviously written and directed by people that have no knowledge of the Star Wars Universe. It should have been made without the Star Wars name even tagged to it. Many decisions seem to have been made for purposes other than driving a storyline. Do things that make sense and drive the story line and make the story line fit within the universe you are writing it in. When you take something like Star Wars (that is tons and tons of books, movies, etc etc) that is well known and you try to basically ignore its history then don't be surprised when your fanbase tells you that it sucks.
