Just wanted to say how much I’m enjoying this book. This is my favourite kind of non-fiction environmental writing— the author does all the great delicious narrative and character tricks, I can see and feel the fascinating places they are describing AND I’m learning. I also appreciate the critical perspective this book brings— not something that I always find in this genre, and *so* appreciated.
