The reoccurring theme for this book is that is lacks common sense at every turn. I am still trying to figure out the "romance" and "psychological" parts of this...thriller? I suppose by definition this book does constitute a thriller, however, it barely meet those expectations. Regarding the proclaimed "romance" aspect, respectfully, where? The romance was lack luster at best and non existent at worse. The FMC and MMC barley speak let alone hang out and somehow he's in love with her after 2 hang outs? Unrealistic, even for cheesy hallmark rom coms, let alone whats supposed to be a more sophisticated psychological thriller. Which brings me to the "psychological" portion of this book. Im still struggling to determine what this was. Was it the never-ending plot holes? The readers struggle watching the FMC start off as brilliant and independent slowly and consistently de-evolve into an idiot who lacks all common sense and ignores consistent bad guy feelings. Please don't get started on the unrealistic court/legal procedure and the fact that she still somehow had a job after ignoring her boss for weeks on end.
