Ah, so Dream’s journey has finally come to an end...
After watching Season 2, Part 2, I feel completely adrift and heartbroken.
I know nothing about acting, but Tom Sturridge’s performance was absolutely overwhelming — the sorrow of the Lord of Dreams poured out and crushed my soul with quiet grief.
There’s a rare integrity in truly exceptional work — from the music, the stunning costumes and exquisite makeup to the richly imagined world crafted through CGI, the flawless casting, and the chemistry between the actors.
Every element fits together so seamlessly that the world of The Sandman feels entirely natural, as if it had always existed.
You can feel the sheer care and conviction of the creators in every frame — nothing was accidental, nothing half-hearted.
The Sandman on Netflix wasn’t just a series — it was a labour of love, and truly, a masterpiece.
