I was thoroughly impressed by this film—it's far more than just a horror movie. The actors delivered phenomenal performances, with Andrea Day standing out in particular. Lee Daniels masterfully captured the complexities of a family dynamic where the mother's deep love for her children is complicated by her own traumatic past. His use of symbolism, especially in the way he portrayed her battle with her inner demons, was powerful and thought-provoking. This movie exceeded all my expectations, and I absolutely loved it.

So I’m one of the few who had a hard time with this show. I wanted to love it so much because of all the hype. It was a struggle to keep watching. I usually complete a show in a week or so. This show took me 3 months to finish. It was really boring and repetitive. The lead finds out she has three months left to live and spends half that time letting everyone walk all over her and continuing on with her boring life. I ended up only watching for the side couple and the writers managed to eventually mess that up too. The only saving grace was the last 3 episodes. It ended so beautifully and the lead actress did a wonderful job in the last three episodes.
