The storyline was really good however, The series was underwhelming. Really liked the male and female leads - Pil Seung and Dora. The families were intrusive and over reactive. At times there were gross over reactions by the female characters that did you reflect the situation. Ms. Baek and Gong Jin Dan were allowed to get away with too much for too long. Sometimes Pil Seung's mom seem to be easily manipulated and influenced by the opinions of others and then other times seemed to over react. She was too obsessed with her son and came across as almost simple minded in some instances. The mothers made this series hard to watch at times. Did not find the hair pulling, high pitch yelling and crying necessary....it was annoying more often than not. Loved the grandmother and Mari. They were my favourites outside the male and female leads. Dora's younger brother was also a sweetheart.

While I enjoyed watching it, it was at times annoying and infuriating. Some decisions made by the actors were just unrealistic. The antagonist was allowed to get away with too much for too long and I found myself wanting to fast forward through some parts of an episode just for my sanity. The potrayal of single parenthood seemed achraic, but I am coming from a western perspective and may not have a true appreciation or understanding for (east) Asian culture. This show tested my resolve! :-)
