This one makes one think about how misguided the state of marriage can get when one loses focus on what's important; how humans are so in their own bubbles about ideas of how things should be that they fail to listen and understand the ones they think they love a lot.
There were many heart crushing moments when Joy Delaney (The mother) as a character was completely misunderstood and easily taken for granted. Makes you feel sad for her/ angry for her/ angry at her.
This is not a series that will shock you or make you cry too much, but it sure as heck will make you think about the importance of honesty, sincerity, and the human condition of wanting to be seen/heard/felt.
