This movie is so personal for me, my husband went through this. We did the same thing to locate his family, he, too was in the Navy but he didn’t have the help to deal with his anger issues. When this movie was first released, he and I would sit and watch it and cry together. Thank you Mr. Fisher and Mr. Washington for this story. I watch it every time that it comes on no matter what time it is. Even though my husband is gone, it still hits me the same way.
