As the original was such a classic, I was all set to dislike the reboot. That was until I snorted coffee out my nose at the visual presented with the “bikini line” quip. That and the panning out to reveal the scorched kitchen (which told its own story). The fine line of presenting Robbie as a money hungry estate agent as well as a loving parent was nicely done, portraying some nice sibling interactions alongside the moments of frustration. The homage to Gunston at the end was also a nice touch. I look forward to seeing what the second instalment brings.
