This attempt to draw parallels was deeply unsettling, and the misrepresentation of Hindi phrases only worsened it. The story's potential was overshadowed by these missteps, and it left me questioning NRI authors who seem disconnected from the culture they’re representing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this one.
