The best part about this series is the acting. Bae Doona carries the whole show with excellent supporting actors, Kim Sun-Young and Gong Yoo. Although he’s the male lead, Gong Yoo’s character was not quite as developed as the antagonist. It is a bit slow and there were several plot holes. If you’re looking for a sci-fi thriller, the science aspect is almost non-existent. Just seemed like the writers didn’t consult with actual scientists as none of the “science” elements were consistent or even logical for that matter. I did enjoy the cinematography. The gripping parts kept me hooked and watching til the end. The ending was unbearably underwhelming, so abrupt, and leaves the viewer with a lot of unanswered questions. Did I like the show? Yes. Would I watch it again? Not at all.
