This is more of a thriller than a horror, it stuck more to the baseline than the actual horror. This movie has a lot of Easter eggs, and has a lot of small details that many people may not pick up on. This movie is definitely closer to the books than the games. I feel bad for Scott as this is an amazing movie and I can't wait for the second one. I'm excited to see what has to come and praying that Mark will be able to make it into the second movie(I know this wasn't Scott's fault as it was a time issue with Marks movie but I'd love to see him in it). Seriously though, the low ratings are people who thought it was going to be a blood bath, as this would have been enjoyable as well, I think they don't see the story behind it. Next movie I hope there to be more blood and gore as FNAF was pretty gory, but I also want to see more lore and to watch the story continue. I've had to watch this movie twice already to pick up on all the stuff I missed. Keeps us hooked! I enjoyed the movie and I hope this helps other who read this to understand why the rating is low!
