ICONIC! I can't believe people are voting this movie below 3 stars, yes it wasn't completely accurate to the book but that doesn't make it bad. They managed to tie in a lot of key factors in the story whilst sticking to the changes made. I don't understand why people are referring to it as a "Harry Potter rip-off", JK Rowling didn't invent the concept of magic schools, it's a trope that's been used many times. Also the only similarity that The School for Good and Evil has with Harry Potter is the use of magic within the school, they storyline is entirely different. I have no idea why people are calling the dialogue "cringe/cheesy" either, it's a 12... they're not exactly going to be swearing 24/7. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie and I hope to see a sequel :)
