This is a truly terrible novel. The only good thing I could relate to is the scene when the night sky turns to day so that American bombers could turn their targets and the innocent people around them into rubble and death. I saw that scene recently on CNN. This time it was happening in Gaza and it has been happening for more than six months. How do the people who lost so many family members in the horrors of the holocaust allow their government to perpetrate this evil.. I realize that many Israelis believe as I do that no country has the right to deny the humanity of others. Hitler did that more than 80 years ago and Netanyahu and his government are doing the same thing today.
