One of the best films I have seen overall, not to mention it was made in 1981. The Soundtrack is perfect , the action is a good balance of day to day survival on the ship and battle, it shows how U-boat's were vulnerable and often chose a stealthy aproch instead of a flashy attack. Based on a good book the movie doesnt disapoint. I recomand it to anyone that is knowledgeable about the subiect and to thoes who are learning about the "Unterseeboot" of World War II.
